Tennis Victoria Pennant

Current season

Commences at the end of April and runs until the end of August.

Time of play

Tennis Victoria Pennant competition is played on Saturday afternoons until completion of sets.

Format of matches

The format is two doubles rubbers, played as eight-game sets, and then four singles rubbers, played in a “best of two-set” format with a ten-point match tiebreaker instead of a full third set. Up to six players can play in a match.

Pennant facilitates a high-level competition in a team environment. It’s competitive singles and doubles matches for grassroots, aspirational and elite players and is the largest inter-club team tennis league in Australia.

We have 2 mens teams that participate in Pennant.

Matches are played alternating at home and at clubs all across Metro Melbourne. The pennant season commences at the end of April and runs until the end of August. Teams are entered at the beginning of March.
